Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EdgeGigs(the "Platform", available at edgegigs.com). By creating an account, listing a service, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

EdgeGigs is an online marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers offering digital services, downloadable digital goods, API and infrastructure services, and physical goods. We provide the platform; sellers are responsible for the products and services they list and deliver.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform.

3. Buyers and sellers

• Sellers must accurately describe their products, honor the scope and delivery times stated in each listing, and hold the rights to anything they sell.
• Buyers must provide the information and access a seller reasonably needs to deliver, and must not misuse delivered work.
• Prices, package tiers, and add-ons are shown on each listing before checkout.

4. Payments and Merchant of Record

Card payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record for those transactions and handles billing, sales tax/VAT, and receipts. Cryptocurrency payments, where offered, are processed by our crypto payment provider. By purchasing, you also agree to the payment processor's applicable terms. Subscriptions (e.g. monthly server rentals) renew automatically until cancelled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
• distribute malware, run fraud, or send spam;
• resell access in violation of a seller's license; or
• violate any applicable law or these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

Unless a listing states otherwise, ownership of delivered work transfers to the buyer upon full payment, while sellers retain rights to their pre-existing and general-purpose tools. The EdgeGigs brand and platform software remain ours.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeGigs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the transaction giving rise to the claim.

8. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users.
