I will edit and produce your podcast episode
About this gig
Send me your raw recording and I'll hand back a clean, broadcast-ready podcast episode — edited, mixed, mastered to loudness spec, and ready to publish without you touching a fader.
Recording a podcast is the easy part. Turning a messy take — with crosstalk, "ums," dead air, a barking dog, and a guest who joined three minutes late — into something people actually want to listen to is where the real work lives. That's what I do. I edit and produce full podcast episodes so you can stay focused on the conversation and the audience, not the waveform.
What you get
- A fully edited episode delivered as a finished audio file (WAV and/or MP3, your choice of format and bitrate)
- Removal of filler words ("um," "uh," "you know," false starts) and long, awkward silences, kept natural so it never sounds chopped
- Multi-track editing when you send separate tracks per speaker, so each voice is treated individually
- Noise reduction and hum/hiss removal — fans, room tone, mouth clicks, plosives, keyboard taps, the dog
- Level balancing between hosts and guests so nobody is too loud or too quiet
- EQ and compression on each voice for a warm, consistent, professional tone
- Loudness mastering to podcast standard (around -16 LUFS for stereo / -19 LUFS mono, or the target your host requires)
- Smooth transitions, plus your intro/outro, ad reads, music beds, and stingers placed and crossfaded where you want them
- One round of revisions (more on higher tiers) so the cut lands exactly how you want it

If your episode runs longer than a tier covers, just message me first and I'll scope it before you order.
How it works
- You order and send files. Drop me your raw recording — a single mixed file or separate tracks per speaker (better results). A WeTransfer/Drive/Dropbox link is perfect for large files.
- You share preferences. Tell me your tone (tight and punchy vs. relaxed and conversational), your loudness target if your host specifies one, and send any intro, outro, music, or ad assets.
- I edit and produce. I clean, cut, balance, mix, and master the episode, building it to your spec and placing every asset where it belongs.
- I deliver a draft. You get the finished file to review against your notes.
- We refine. You send revision notes, I adjust within your tier's included rounds.
- You publish. I hand off the final file in your chosen format, ready to upload to your podcast host.
Why choose this
- I produce the whole episode, not just "noise removal." Cleanup, balancing, mixing, and loudness mastering are all included — you get a publish-ready file, not a slightly cleaner version of your raw take.
- Multi-track aware. Separate speaker tracks are edited individually, which is the difference between "fine" and "professional." Remote-recorded interviews (Riverside, SquadCast, Zoom, Zencastr) are right in my wheelhouse.
- Loudness done correctly. Episodes are mastered to true podcast loudness targets so they sound consistent across Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and every other app — no listener reaching for the volume knob.
- Natural-sounding cuts. Filler and dead air come out without that stuttered, over-edited feel. The conversation still breathes.
- Honest scope. Tiers are by finished length and track count so you know exactly what you're getting. No surprise limits mid-project.
Who it's for / use cases
- Solo hosts who record a monologue and want it cleaned, leveled, and mastered without learning a DAW.
- Interview shows with a host plus remote guests on separate tracks, often with uneven mic quality.
- Co-hosted shows where two or three people talk over each other and levels drift.
- Founders and marketers running a brand or B2B podcast who need a reliable per-episode production turnaround.
- Coaches, creators, and experts repurposing long-form conversations into a polished feed.
- Agencies and busy producers who need editing capacity offloaded for a client's show.
FAQ
Q: What files should I send? Send your raw recording in any common format (WAV preferred for quality, but MP3, M4A, AAC, FLAC all work). If you recorded each speaker on a separate track, send those individual files — it gives the cleanest result. Use a file-sharing link for anything large.
Q: Do you handle remote interviews recorded on Zoom, Riverside, SquadCast, or Zencastr? Yes. Those platforms typically export separate tracks per participant, which is exactly what I want. Just include all the tracks for the episode.
Q: Can you remove background noise, echo, and mouth clicks? Yes. Noise reduction, hum/hiss removal, plosive and click cleanup are part of every tier. Severe echo or heavy room reverb can only be reduced so far — send a sample first and I'll tell you honestly what's achievable.
Q: Will you add my intro, outro, music, and ad reads? Intro/outro and music bed placement are included on Standard and Premium. Ad/sponsor reads and stingers are included on Premium (and available as an add-on on Standard). Just send me the assets and tell me where they go.
Q: What loudness target do you master to? By default, around -16 LUFS for stereo and -19 LUFS for mono, the common podcast standard. If your host or network requires a specific target, tell me and I'll master to it.
Q: How many revisions are included? Basic includes one round, Standard two, and Premium three. A revision means a set of notes (cut this section, raise that voice, move the ad). I want the episode right, so I'll always be reasonable about small tweaks.
Q: What format do I get back? Your choice of WAV and/or MP3, at the bitrate your podcast host recommends. Tell me your platform and I'll deliver a file that uploads cleanly.
Q: Can you do my whole show on a recurring basis? Absolutely. Many clients send a new episode every week. Order per episode, and once we lock in your sound and preferences, each turnaround gets faster and more consistent.

Delivered exactly what I wanted, tightened up the rambly parts and balanced the levels. Will be sending every episode here.

The episode came back sounding so clean, all the background hiss from my mic was just gone. Music intro and outro fit perfectly too.

Honestly didn't expect this level of polish. The edits were seamless and you'd never know how many times I stumbled while recording.

The final mix sounds nice and the noise is gone, but a couple of my umms slipped through that I had to point out for a revision.

First time getting a podcast professionally edited and wow, the difference is night and day. The whole thing flows now.

Good work removing the filler words and the long pauses. Took a tiny bit longer than I hoped but the final audio was worth it.

Took my messy two-hour recording and turned it into a tight, listenable episode. The transitions between segments are smooth as butter.

Cut out a sneeze, a doorbell, and my dog barking like they were never there. Super impressed with the cleanup.

My co-host and I were on totally different volumes and the leveling fixed it completely. Sounds like a real show now.

Solid edit overall, the audio is much warmer than the raw file I sent. Asked for one small change to the intro and it was handled fine.
