I will produce a stop motion product animation for your social ads
About this gig
I will produce a frame-by-frame stop motion product animation built to stop the scroll and make your product the hero of every social ad.
Stop motion is one of the few formats that still feels handmade in a feed full of templates. Real objects, moved a fraction at a time and captured frame by frame, give your product weight, texture, and personality that a slide-in motion graphic simply cannot fake. I produce custom stop motion product animations for social ads — short, punchy, loop-friendly clips engineered for paid and organic placement across Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
What you get
- A fully produced stop motion animation of YOUR physical product, shot and animated frame by frame (typically 12–24 fps depending on the look we agree on).
- Delivery in the aspect ratios you actually need: vertical 9:16 for Reels/TikTok/Shorts, plus 1:1 square and/or 16:9 horizontal on request.
- Final export in clean H.264 MP4 (and MOV/ProRes on the higher tiers) at up to 4K, color-graded and ready to upload straight to an ad manager.
- A seamless loop option so the clip restarts invisibly — ideal for autoplay placements.
- Licensed background music and sound design (whooshes, pops, clicks) timed to the motion, or a clean music-free version if you're adding your own audio or voiceover.
- On-screen text, your logo, price callouts, or a closing CTA card baked into the edit when you want them.
- A short shot list / concept summary before we shoot so you know exactly what's being animated.
- Source-friendly delivery: I keep the project organized so revisions are fast and future tweaks are possible.

How it works
- Brief & kickoff. You tell me the product, the platform(s), the vibe (playful, premium, energetic, minimalist), and any brand colors, fonts, or reference clips you love. You also send the physical product to my studio, or we arrange a high-detail asset handoff if the product can be represented with what I already have.
- Concept & shot plan. I send back a short written concept and (on Standard/Premium) storyboard frames showing the key beats — how the product appears, moves, transforms, and lands on its CTA. We lock this before any shooting starts so there are no surprises.
- Set build & rigging. I build the surface, backdrop, and any props, then rig the product and lighting on a locked-off camera. This is the slow, careful part — stop motion lives or dies on a stable setup.
- Frame-by-frame capture. I move the product in tiny increments and shoot every frame by hand, checking onion-skin overlays as I go to keep the motion smooth and the timing right.
- Edit, grade & sound. I assemble the frames, color-grade, add text/logo/CTA, layer in music and sound design, and cut it to the lengths and ratios in your plan.
- Review & revisions. You get a watermarked draft. You send notes, I revise within your tier's revision count, and once you're happy I deliver the final clean files.
Why choose this
Stop motion can't be churned out by a template or a one-click preset — and that's exactly why it works in a feed. The handmade motion reads as authentic, which is gold for product ads where trust and tactility matter (food, cosmetics, gadgets, packaging, apparel, toys). Every frame here is shot in-camera with real lighting on real objects, so highlights, shadows, and texture behave the way a viewer's eye expects, instead of the slightly-off plasticky feel of pure 3D. I plan for the platform first: short runtimes, an early hook in the first second, a clear product moment, and a CTA that lands before anyone scrolls past. And because I storyboard before shooting, you approve the idea before time goes into the set — no expensive surprises, no vague "trust me."
Who it's for / use cases
- DTC and e-commerce brands launching a product and needing scroll-stopping paid social creative.
- Food, beverage, and CPG brands where texture, pour, melt, fizz, or unboxing sells the product.
- Beauty & skincare lines that want a tactile, premium feel for serums, compacts, and packaging.
- Gadgets & accessories that benefit from showing assembly, transformation, or "magic" reveals.
- Agencies and marketers who need a distinctive hero asset for a campaign or an A/B creative test.
- Crowdfunding & product launches that want a memorable hero clip for the campaign page and ads.
- Anyone tired of generic motion-graphics ads and wanting something that actually feels crafted.
FAQ
Q: Do I need to send you my physical product? In almost all cases, yes — stop motion is shot with the real object, so I need it in-studio to light, rig, and animate it frame by frame. Message me before ordering and we'll sort out shipping and return logistics.
Q: How long is the final animation? It depends on your plan: up to 7 seconds on Basic, up to 15 on Standard, and up to 30 on Premium. For paid social, shorter and punchier usually performs better, so I'll help you pick a length that fits the placement.
Q: Which platforms and aspect ratios do you deliver for? I deliver for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Vertical 9:16 is the default; square 1:1 and horizontal 16:9 are available depending on your tier so you can run the same idea across placements.
Q: Can you add my logo, text, and a call to action? Yes. I can bake in your logo, on-screen text, price or feature callouts, and a closing CTA card. Send me your brand assets (logo files, fonts, colors) and I'll match them.
Q: What about music and sound? Every tier includes a licensed background track. Standard and Premium add sound design — the little pops, whooshes, and clicks synced to the motion that make stop motion feel alive. I can also deliver a music-free version if you're adding your own audio or voiceover.
Q: How many revisions do I get? Basic includes 1 revision, Standard 2, and Premium 3. Because we lock the concept and storyboard before shooting, most revisions are minor — timing tweaks, text changes, or grade adjustments — rather than full reshoots.
Q: What's the turnaround time? It varies with complexity, set build, and length, and it also depends on when your product arrives at the studio. Message me with your deadline before ordering and I'll confirm whether it's achievable and flag any rush options.
Q: What file formats do I receive? You'll get a ready-to-upload H.264 MP4 on every tier. Standard adds higher-resolution exports, and Premium includes a ProRes/MOV master plus a seamless loop version for autoplay placements.
Q: Can the product transform, float, or do things it can't normally do? Absolutely — that's where stop motion shines. Self-assembling packaging, floating products, ingredients flying into frame, color changes — if it can be rigged and shot in increments, we can make it happen. Bring your wildest idea to the brief and I'll tell you honestly what's feasible.

Great little animation of our candle and it looked perfect for stories. Took a couple of rounds to get the timing right but the final cut was worth it.

The stop motion of the product was nice and the movement was satisfying, but the lighting between a few frames flickered a bit more than I expected.

Delivered a fun looping animation of our jewelry pieces that works really well as a short social ad. Communication could've been a touch faster but the result was solid.
