I will design a complete NFT collection with traits and metadata

About this gig

I will design a complete NFT collection with layered traits and ready-to-mint metadata, so you can launch a coherent, generative profile-picture (PFP) or art project without juggling separate artists, scripts, and spreadsheets. From the base character concept to the final folder of images and JSON, I hand you everything a generator or marketplace needs.

What you get

This is a hands-on design service, not a template pack. I build your art and assets from your brief and deliver a working, generation-ready collection. Depending on the plan you pick, you receive:

  • A defined art style and concept for your collection (PFP character, creature, mascot, abstract, pixel, or illustrated style) agreed with you before full production begins.
  • A layered master file built in Photoshop / Illustrator / Procreate / Figma with every trait on its own correctly-named layer and group, so the art is fully separable and re-generatable.
  • Hand-designed traits across multiple categories — for example background, body/base, eyes, mouth, headwear, clothing, and accessories — each drawn as individual variations that combine cleanly.
  • A consistent palette and grid so every trait lines up pixel-for-pixel and no combination looks broken or misaligned.
  • Trait rarity planning — I assign rarity weights per trait (common / uncommon / rare / legendary) and structure them so your reveal has genuine chase pieces.
  • Generated final images at the supply count for your plan, exported as transparent PNG (or PNG over background) at your chosen resolution.
  • A matching metadata file set — one JSON per token following the widely-used OpenSea/ERC-721 standard, with name, description, image, and an attributes array listing every trait_type and value for that token.
  • A rarity / trait-distribution sheet (CSV or spreadsheet) so you can see exactly how many of each trait exist across the collection.
  • Organized delivery folders/images and /json named 0,1,2… in matching order, plus the layered source files, ready to drop into your minting pipeline or pin to IPFS.
  • A 1/1 or banner asset (higher plans) — a hero piece, collection avatar, and marketplace banner so your project page looks finished from day one.

I do not write or deploy smart contracts, mint on-chain, set up your wallet, or provide financial/legal/tokenomics advice. This service is the art, the traits, and the metadata — the creative and asset layer that sits underneath your contract.

How it works

  1. Brief & scope. You send your idea — theme, vibe, references, target supply, and whether it's a PFP, art, or mascot collection. I confirm the plan, trait list, and resolution.
  2. Style sample. I design the base character and one or two sample traits so we lock the art direction before I produce the full set. No surprises later.
  3. Trait production. I draw every variation in each category on its own aligned layer, keeping the palette and grid consistent across the whole library.
  4. Rarity setup. I assign rarity weights per trait and structure the categories so rare combinations feel special and nothing clashes visually.
  5. Generation. I combine the layers at your supply count, filter out broken or forbidden pairings, and export the final images.
  6. Metadata. I generate one standards-compliant JSON per token, matched to its image, plus your rarity distribution sheet.
  7. Delivery & revisions. You receive organized folders and source files. We run the revision rounds included in your plan to polish anything that's off.

Why choose this

  • One source, end to end. Art, traits, rarity, and metadata are designed together, so they actually fit — you're not stitching a freelancer's art onto a stranger's script.
  • Generation-ready, not just pretty pictures. Layers are named and aligned for clean automated combination, and the metadata follows the standard marketplaces and explorers expect.
  • Honest rarity. Weights are planned and documented in a sheet you can read, not hidden in a black box.
  • Consistent quality. Every trait shares one palette and grid, so all combinations look intentional — including the ones you didn't manually check.
  • Clear, upfront scope. You know exactly what's included before production starts, and the style is locked with a sample first.

Who it's for / use cases

  • Founders launching a PFP project who need a full generative character set with traits and metadata ready to mint.
  • Artists who can draw but don't want to wrestle with layering rules, rarity math, and JSON formatting.
  • Communities, DAOs, and brands wanting a coherent collection for memberships, avatars, or campaigns.
  • Game and metaverse teams needing a consistent, attribute-tagged asset library for characters or items.
  • Anyone testing a concept who wants a small, clean collection to validate an idea before scaling.

FAQ

Q: Do you deploy the smart contract or mint the NFTs for me? No. I deliver the complete art, traits, and metadata as ready-to-use files. Minting, contract deployment, IPFS pinning, and on-chain steps are handled on your side or by your dev — I can format the deliverables to match what your pipeline expects.

Q: What format is the metadata in? Standard JSON following the OpenSea/ERC-721 convention, with one file per token containing name, description, image reference, and an attributes array of trait_type / value pairs. This is what major marketplaces read for trait and rarity display.

Q: Can you match an existing art style or reference I send? Yes. Share references in the brief and I'll design original art in that direction. I create new artwork inspired by the vibe — I don't trace or reuse other collections' assets.

Q: How many traits and how large a supply can you do? That depends on your plan and is confirmed up front. Larger supplies need enough trait variation to stay unique, so I'll advise on the trait count needed to support your target without heavy duplication.

Q: Will every generated token be unique? I filter the generation to remove exact duplicates and any forbidden trait pairings (for example two hats), so each token in the final set is a distinct combination.

Q: Do I own the artwork and can I use it commercially? On completion and once the work is paid for, full rights to the delivered art and assets transfer to you for your collection, including commercial use. I keep no claim to your launched project.

Q: What do you need from me to start? Your theme and references, the target supply, your trait wishlist (or let me propose one), the export resolution, and which standard your contract uses. The more direction you give, the closer the first draft lands.

Q: How do revisions work? Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds covering the art style, individual traits, and rarity tuning. We lock the style with a sample early, which keeps revisions focused on polish rather than restarts.

The trait rarity setup was so thoughtful, some of the rarer combos look amazing. Metadata was clean and ready to upload straight to IPFS.

Solid work on the trait designs and the overall vibe is consistent. Delivery of the metadata folder was a bit slower than I expected but everything was there in the end.

Art style is great and all the traits layer together without weird clipping. Took a couple revisions to get the metadata attribute names formatted the way my mint contract needed, but they sorted it out.

The collection itself looks good and the traits are varied, but a few of the metadata files had mismatched token IDs that I had to point out before they were corrected.

Got every layer as separate PNGs plus the final composited collection and matching JSON. Super organized handoff.

Delivered a full collection of 10,000 generated pieces with the trait layers organized exactly how I asked, and the metadata files matched up perfectly with each image. Couldn't be happier.

I asked for a cohesive cyberpunk theme across all the traits and that's exactly what landed in my inbox. The metadata even had the rarity percentages baked into the attributes.
