I will do real estate HDR blending and exposure correction

About this gig

I will turn your bracketed real estate exposures into clean, natural HDR images with corrected highlights, shadows, and color — straight, sharp, and ready to list.

What you get

You send me your bracketed shots (usually 3, 5, or 7 exposures per frame), and I hand-blend them into a single balanced image per scene. This is exposure-blending and correction work — not a one-click HDR filter — so the result looks like a room a buyer would actually walk into, not a glowing, over-processed cartoon.

  • Hand-blended HDR exposure merge from your brackets, with detail held in both the bright windows and the dark corners.
  • Window pull / view recovery so the outside (yard, skyline, water, trees) is visible instead of blown out to white, while the interior stays naturally lit.
  • Exposure correction and balancing across the whole frame so ceilings, floors, walls, and fixtures read evenly with no muddy or crushed areas.
  • White balance and color correction to remove orange tungsten casts, green fluorescent tints, and mixed-light color shifts — whites look white, woods look warm, walls look true.
  • Vertical and horizontal straightening so walls stand up straight and lines stay level (lens distortion and keystoning corrected).
  • Lens cleanup: chromatic aberration, vignetting, and obvious distortion reduced.
  • Light spot retouching included on every image — dust spots, minor sensor marks, and small distracting blemishes.
  • Color-cast removal from lamps and lighting, with optional warm "lights-on" ambiance where it flatters the room.
  • Consistent look across the full set so every photo in a single listing matches in brightness, tone, and color from the first shot to the last.
  • High-resolution JPEGs delivered at full size, web-ready and sized correctly for MLS and listing portals. TIFF or PNG available on request.

I do not fabricate what isn't in your files. If a window has no detail captured in any bracket, I recover the most natural result possible rather than pasting in a fake sky — unless you order sky replacement as an add-on (see FAQ).

Image counts, revision rounds, and delivery speed scale with the tier you select. If you have a large or recurring volume, message me first and I'll set up a matched workflow.

How it works

  1. Send your brackets. Upload your bracketed RAW or JPEG sets through a shared link (Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer — your choice). Keep each scene's exposures grouped, and tell me the bracket count if it isn't obvious.
  2. Tell me your preference. Bright and airy, or warm and natural? Lights on or off? Any must-keep window views? A two-line brief is enough; samples of a look you like help even more.
  3. I blend and correct. I merge each scene by hand, recover the windows, fix color and exposure, straighten the lines, and clean up spots — then match the whole set so it reads as one cohesive listing.
  4. You review. I deliver web-ready images for your review. You check them on your screen at full size.
  5. Revisions. Tell me what to adjust — too warm, too bright, a window pushed too hard — and I refine within your plan's revision rounds.
  6. Final delivery. You receive the finished full-resolution files, ready to upload straight to the listing.

Why choose this

Real estate photography lives or dies on the windows and the color. Auto-HDR tools tend to produce halos around window frames, gray flat walls, and that unmistakable over-cooked look that makes buyers scroll past. I blend by hand, frame by frame, so the brightness feels like real daylight and the view outside is actually there. Color correction is done per room, not with one global slider, so a kitchen under LED strips and a bedroom under tungsten lamps both end up looking honest. And because I match the entire set, your listing reads as a single confident walkthrough instead of a patchwork of mismatched shots. The work is photographic and restrained — I correct and balance what your camera captured rather than inventing a scene that doesn't exist.

Who it's for / use cases

  • Real estate photographers who shoot brackets and want editing off their plate so they can stay behind the camera.
  • Real estate agents and brokers capturing their own listings who need them to look polished and professional.
  • Property managers and short-term rental hosts listing apartments, vacation homes, and Airbnb units that need to stand out.
  • Architecture and interior design studios documenting finished spaces where window views and true color matter.
  • Commercial and hospitality listings — offices, retail, restaurants, and event venues — that need clean, even, accurate interiors.
  • Builders and developers showcasing new construction and model homes with consistent, gallery-ready imagery.

FAQ

Q: What exactly is HDR blending and exposure correction? It's combining several photos of the same scene shot at different brightness levels into one image that holds detail everywhere — bright windows and dark corners alike — then correcting the exposure, color, and straightness so it looks natural and even.

Q: Do I have to send bracketed exposures? It works best with brackets, since that's where the highlight and shadow detail comes from. If you only have single shots I can still correct exposure and color, but window recovery will be limited by what that one file captured. Tell me what you have and I'll set expectations honestly.

Q: What file formats do you accept and deliver? I accept RAW (CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG, and others) or JPEG brackets. I deliver full-resolution JPEGs by default, with TIFF or PNG available on request.

Q: Will the windows show the view outside? Yes, as long as the view exists somewhere in your brackets — that's the whole point of blending. If no exposure captured the outside, I recover the most natural result possible. Full sky replacement is an add-on, not a default.

Q: Can you replace a dull sky or green up the lawn? Yes — minor sky touch-ups and lawn green-up are included in Premium, and available as add-ons otherwise. I keep these realistic and seasonal rather than over-saturated.

Q: How many revisions do I get? Each plan includes a set number of revision rounds. Adjustments to brightness, warmth, window strength, and color are all fair game — just point out what you want changed and I'll refine it.

Q: Can you keep a consistent look across a whole listing? Yes. Set-wide consistency matching is included in Standard and Premium, so every image in one listing shares the same brightness, tone, and color balance.

Q: My images have heavy reflections in mirrors, TVs, or fixtures — can you fix that? Advanced highlight and reflection control is part of Standard and Premium. Some reflections (like a photographer caught in a mirror) may need object removal as an add-on — send me the files and I'll tell you what's realistic before you order.

Color casts from the mixed lighting were handled really well and the verticals came out straight. Quick turnaround on a 25 photo set.

Sent over a batch of bracketed shots from a listing where the windows were completely blown out, and got them back the next morning with the exterior view perfectly visible and the interior still bright and natural. The window pulls are clean with no halos, which is exactly what my agents have been asking for.
