I will edit and color your wedding film into a cinematic highlight reel
About this gig
Hand me your raw wedding footage and I'll cut, grade, and score it into a cinematic highlight reel that actually feels like the day you lived. Story-driven editing, honest timelines.
What you get
You send the footage; I return a polished, share-ready wedding film. Here is exactly what lands in your folder when the project is done:
- A fully edited cinematic highlight reel built from your raw clips, structured as a story: arrival and prep, the ceremony beats, the emotional peaks, the first dance, and the send-off. No random montage dump.
- A professional color grade across the whole film: white-balance correction so skin tones look natural under mixed venue lighting, shot-to-shot matching so a clip from the bright garden sits next to a dim reception clip without jarring you, and a consistent cinematic look (warm, filmic, soft, or true-to-life, your call).
- Clean audio editing: your chosen music bed mixed properly, vow and speech audio synced and leveled where I have usable source, ambient sound where it adds atmosphere, and noise/hum reduction on dialogue where the source allows.
- Music-synced cutting so the edit breathes with the track. Key moments land on the beat instead of fighting it.
- Tasteful transitions, speed ramps, and pacing appropriate to a wedding film, plus light stabilization on shaky handheld shots where the footage permits.
- Optional titles and lower-thirds: your names, the date, the venue, and a closing card, styled to match the film's mood.
- Final delivery in full HD (1080p) or 4K, exported in the resolution, aspect ratio, and frame rate you need, ready for YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, or a private link to send family.
- A standard set of revision rounds (see Plans) so we can fine-tune the cut, the music, and the grade until it feels right.
What I do not do, so there are no surprises: I am not shooting your wedding, I work only from the footage you provide. I do not invent footage that was never filmed, I do not remove people or objects with VFX, and I cannot rescue clips that are fully out of focus, badly underexposed beyond recovery, or missing audio entirely. I will always tell you up front if something in your raw files can't be saved.

How it works
- You reach out with the basics. Tell me roughly how much raw footage you have, how it was filmed (single camera, multi-cam, phone, drone, a mix), the rough finished length you want, and the vibe you're after. Share a reference film or two if you have one.
- We lock the plan. I confirm the tier, the target length, the look, and the delivery format, and I flag anything about your described setup that might affect the edit.
- You upload the footage. Send everything via a link (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or similar). Include your chosen music if you have it, plus any must-have moments, names spelled correctly, and the date and venue as you want them shown.
- I review and prep. I watch all the source, sync multi-cam and external audio, sort the keepers, and map the story structure before I cut a single frame.
- I build the first cut. Story edit, then music sync, then the color grade, then the audio mix and titles.
- You review and we refine. You get a watermarked preview link. You send timestamped notes; I apply your revisions within the rounds included in your tier.
- Final delivery. Once approved, I export the clean, full-resolution file (or files) and send your download link.
Why choose this
I treat a wedding film as a story, not a slideshow. Anyone can string clips to a song; the difference is in the pacing, the moment selection, and a color grade that makes a chaotic, mixed-lighting day look intentional and beautiful. I work to a clear, honest scope: you know the included length, the source-footage limit, and the number of revisions before we start, so there are no moving goalposts and no vague promises. Communication is plain and timestamped, your raw footage is handled privately and never reused, and I tell you the truth about what your clips can and cannot become. You get a film you'll genuinely want to send to your family, not one that sits in a folder.
Who it's for / use cases
- Couples who hired a videographer for raw coverage only, or who have great footage but no edit.
- Couples whose footage was filmed by a friend or family member on a decent camera or phone and now want it shaped into something cinematic.
- Wedding videographers and studios who shoot beautifully but are backed up on post and want a reliable editing and color hand to clear the queue.
- Anniversary, vow-renewal, and elopement films built from existing footage.
- Anyone needing a short social teaser or vertical cut-down from a wedding they already have on file.
FAQ
Q: Do you film the wedding yourself? No. This is an editing, color, and audio service only. You provide the raw footage and I turn it into the finished film. If your day has already been shot, you're in exactly the right place.
Q: What footage formats and cameras do you accept? Most common formats work: footage from mirrorless and DSLR cameras, cinema cameras, gimbals, drones, action cams, and modern phones. Send native files where possible (not screen recordings or re-compressed downloads) so the grade and detail hold up. If you're unsure, send a sample clip first and I'll confirm.
Q: Can you fix shaky, dark, or out-of-focus shots? Within reason. I apply light stabilization and recover exposure and color where the source allows, and I'll favor your strongest clips in the edit. But footage that is fully out of focus, severely underexposed, or badly blown out can't be saved, and I'll tell you honestly before we commit so you're never paying for the impossible.
Q: Can I choose the music, and what about copyright? Yes, you pick the track and I'll sync the edit to it. Please note that licensing music for public posting (YouTube, Instagram) is your responsibility. I'm happy to suggest license-friendly tracks if you'd prefer something safe to post anywhere.
Q: How do I send my footage? A shared link is easiest: Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer all work. For large multi-hour uploads, a cloud drive link is usually the smoothest. I'll confirm I can access everything before I start cutting.
Q: How many revisions are included and what counts as one? Each tier includes a set number of revision rounds (1 to 3). A round means you send me one consolidated, timestamped set of notes and I apply them. I'd rather you gather all your thoughts into one clear list per round than send them piecemeal, that way each round goes further.
Q: What will the final length be, and can I get a vertical version for social? Finished length depends on your tier and the footage, ranging from a short reel up to an extended cinematic film. A vertical social teaser is optional on Standard and included on Premium, perfect for Instagram or sharing quickly with guests.
Q: How long does it take? Turnaround depends on the tier, the amount of source footage, and the current queue. I'll give you a realistic delivery window when we lock the plan, and I'll keep you posted if anything changes. Rush timing may be possible depending on availability, so just ask.

Great edit and the color correction really brought our outdoor shots to life. Took a little longer than I expected but the highlight reel was worth the wait.

Really happy with how cohesive the color looked across all the different scenes. A few of my favorite clips got trimmed shorter than I wanted but overall lovely work.

The final highlight reel looks nice and the colors are clean, but I had to ask for a couple of revisions to get the moment order right. Decent result in the end.

Absolutely loved how the final cut flowed with the music. Every important moment from the ceremony to the first dance was in there.
