About this gig

I will add professional VFX, compositing and green screen removal to make your footage look clean, cinematic, and finished. Send me your clips and I'll handle the technical heavy lifting frame by frame.

What you get

You get polished, broadcast-ready footage with the visual effects work done properly, not a one-click filter slapped on top. Depending on the plan you choose, the delivery can include:

  • Chroma key / green screen removal — clean keying of your subject off a green or blue screen, with careful attention to edges, hair detail, and spill suppression so there's no green halo left behind.
  • Compositing — placing your keyed subject (or any element) onto a new background, whether that's a still image, video plate, or a scene I build for you. Matched lighting, color, and perspective so it actually sits in the shot.
  • Background replacement — swapping out a busy, distracting, or unwanted background for something cleaner or more on-brand.
  • Object / logo / wire removal — painting out boom mics, rigging, watermarks, blemishes, or anything that shouldn't be in frame, including basic motion tracking to keep the removal stable across the clip.
  • Motion-tracked elements — attaching text, graphics, or effects to moving objects or camera moves so they stay locked in place.
  • VFX elements — adding effects like muzzle flashes, light wraps, atmospheric haze, particles, screen replacements (phones, monitors, TVs), and similar set-piece touches where the brief calls for them.
  • Color and integration pass — light grading so the composited elements and the plate read as one cohesive image rather than two pieces stitched together.
  • Rendered export in the resolution, frame rate, and codec you need (up to 4K), plus the project/source files on the top tier if you want to keep working in-house.

Every order comes back with the effects baked into a final render, plus a quick note on what was done and any limitations I ran into with the source footage.

If your project sits between two tiers or needs something not listed, message me first and I'll scope a custom quote so you're not paying for work you don't need or coming up short on what you do.

How it works

  1. You send the footage and the brief. Share your raw clips (a download link works best for large files) along with reference images, the background or element you want, and a clear description of the look you're after. The more reference, the better the match.
  2. I review and confirm scope. I check the footage quality, lighting, and edges before committing, then confirm the plan, deliverable specs, and timeline with you. If something in the source will fight the effect, I tell you up front instead of after.
  3. I do the technical pass. Keying, rotoscoping where needed, tracking, cleanup, and the build of any new background or VFX elements. This is the slow, careful part where edges and motion get treated frame by frame.
  4. I composite and integrate. Lighting, color, light-wrap, grain matching, and grading so the pieces belong in the same world.
  5. I send a preview. You review a watermarked or lower-res draft, and we lock in the changes from your revision notes.
  6. I deliver the final render in your target format, plus source files if your plan includes them.

Why choose this

Good VFX is invisible — the goal is that nobody can tell it was done. I focus on the details that separate clean work from obvious work: edge quality on a key, spill that's actually removed instead of crushed, tracking that doesn't slip, and color that ties everything together. I'd rather flag a problem with your source footage early and find a workaround than ship something that looks fake. You get honest scoping, a clear preview before final delivery, and a deliverable that drops straight into your edit.

Who it's for / use cases

  • Content creators and YouTubers who shoot on a green screen and want clean keys with custom or branded backgrounds.
  • Small businesses and marketers needing product videos, explainers, or ads where a presenter is composited into a designed scene.
  • Filmmakers and editors needing wire/rig removal, screen replacements, muzzle flashes, or set extensions on a budget.
  • Course creators and educators placing themselves over slides, demos, or virtual environments.
  • Event and music video teams wanting atmospheric effects, background cleanup, or stylized compositing.
  • Agencies that need an extra pair of hands for overflow VFX and compositing work on tight timelines.

FAQ

Q: What footage do you need from me? Send the highest-quality source you have — ideally the original camera files, not a re-compressed export. For green screen work, footage with even lighting on the screen and good separation between subject and background gives the cleanest key.

Q: My green screen lighting wasn't great. Can you still key it? Often yes, but it's harder and the edges may need extra rotoscoping. Send a sample clip first and I'll tell you honestly what's achievable before you order.

Q: Can you remove a background without a green screen? Sometimes, using rotoscoping or AI-assisted masking, but it's slower and works best on simpler shots. Message me with the clip so I can assess it — I won't promise a clean result on footage that can't deliver one.

Q: What formats do you deliver? Common delivery is H.264/H.265 MP4 or ProRes in your chosen resolution up to 4K. Tell me your target platform or NLE and I'll export to match. Project/source files are included on the Premium tier.

Q: How many revisions are included? One on Basic, two on Standard, and three on Premium. Revisions cover refinements within the agreed scope; new shots or a changed creative direction would be a separate order.

Q: Can you handle a long video or a full project? The plans cover per-clip lengths, but I take on larger projects regularly. Send the full scope and I'll put together a custom quote and timeline.

Q: Do you do 3D or full CGI character work? My focus is compositing, keying, cleanup, tracking, and integrated VFX elements rather than full 3D character animation. If your project needs that, tell me and I'll be upfront about what I can and can't deliver.

Q: How do we share large files? A cloud download link (Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or similar) is the most reliable for raw footage. I'll send finals back the same way.

The green screen removal on my footage was flawless, no jagged edges around my hair at all, and the composite background blended in so naturally it looked like I actually filmed there.
