I will publish and upload your book to Amazon KDP with full metadata setup
About this gig
I will publish and upload your book to Amazon KDP with full metadata setup, so your finished manuscript becomes a live, searchable listing without the guesswork.
Your writing is done. The part that trips most authors up is everything after the manuscript: account setup, file formats, trim sizes, category placement, keyword research, pricing territories, and the dozens of small fields that decide whether your book is found or buried. I take your finished files and turn them into a correctly configured, published listing on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), with the metadata done properly the first time.
What you get
- A fully configured KDP title set up under your own account (I work inside your account so you keep 100% ownership and royalties — nothing is published under my name)
- Manuscript uploaded in the correct format (PDF/EPUB/DOCX) for eBook, paperback, or both, depending on your plan
- Cover file uploaded and validated against KDP's previewer (I flag bleed, spine, or DPI problems before they cause rejection)
- Complete metadata setup: book title, subtitle, series name, author and contributor fields, edition number, and language
- A keyword-researched set of up to 7 backend search terms chosen to match how readers actually search in your niche
- Two optimized BISAC/browse categories selected to maximize visibility and best-seller-list eligibility
- A formatted, scannable book description (with light HTML for bold/headers where KDP allows it) written or refined from your blurb
- Pricing entered across primary marketplaces (US, UK, EU, and others) with royalty plan (35% or 70%) configured correctly
- KDP Select / Kindle Unlimited enrollment configured per your preference
- ISBN handling: free KDP-assigned ISBN applied, or your own ISBN entered if you provide one
- Online Previewer check and a final pre-publish review so the listing goes live clean
- A short handover note confirming what was submitted and what to expect during Amazon's review window

How it works
- You place the order and send your files. I'll ask for your manuscript (DOCX, EPUB, or print-ready PDF), your cover, and a short brief: genre, target reader, and any blurb or comparable titles you have in mind.
- We confirm access and scope. You either grant me access to your KDP account or we screen-share so the title is created under your ownership. We lock down format (eBook, paperback, or both) and ISBN choice.
- I prepare the metadata. I research keywords, choose categories, and draft or refine your description. For Standard and Premium, I cross-check what's working for similar titles in your niche.
- I upload and configure everything. Files go in, all fields get filled, pricing and royalty options are set, and KDP Select preferences are applied.
- We preview and review together. I run the listing through KDP's Online Previewer and send you a checklist of exactly what's set. You confirm or request revisions within your plan's rounds.
- I hit publish. The title goes into Amazon's review queue (typically up to 72 hours). I send you the handover note and tell you what to watch for once it's live.
Why choose this
KDP is deceptively simple — anyone can upload a file, but a sloppy setup quietly costs you sales. Wrong categories make your book invisible. Weak keywords mean readers never surface it. A description that ignores KDP's formatting rules reads as a wall of text. I treat metadata as the marketing asset it is, not a form to rush through. You get a clean, correct, discoverable listing and, just as importantly, you keep full control of your own account, royalties, and rights. I'm doing the setup labor — you own the result.
Who it's for / use cases
- First-time authors who finished a manuscript and feel stuck at the publishing step
- Busy professionals, coaches, and consultants self-publishing a lead-generation or authority book
- Fiction writers launching a novel or series who want categories and keywords done right
- Authors re-publishing or migrating a title and wanting the metadata cleaned up
- Ghostwriting clients or small presses who need a reliable hands-off upload
- Anyone who has been quoted vague "formatting" help but actually needs the listing built and live
FAQ
Q: Do I keep ownership of my book and royalties? Yes, completely. I publish inside your own KDP account, so your rights, royalties, and payments stay 100% with you. Nothing is published under my name or any third party.
Q: Do you write or format the manuscript itself? No. This service covers publishing, uploading, and metadata setup. I expect a finished manuscript and cover. I'll validate your files and flag problems, but I don't write content or do full interior formatting/typesetting.
Q: Can you do both eBook and paperback? eBook is included in every plan. Paperback setup is included in Standard and Premium, where I handle trim size, margins, and cover validation for print.
Q: What files do you need from me? Your manuscript (DOCX, EPUB, or print-ready PDF), your cover image, and a short brief on genre and target reader. A blurb is helpful but I can refine or write the description on Standard and Premium.
Q: Do I need my own ISBN? No. KDP provides a free ISBN that works perfectly for selling on Amazon, and I'll apply it. If you already own an ISBN and prefer to use it, send it over and I'll enter it instead.
Q: How long until my book is live? Setup is usually quick once I have your files and account access. After I publish, Amazon's own review typically takes up to 72 hours before the title appears for sale — that part is on Amazon's side, not mine.
Q: Can you guarantee sales or a best-seller ranking? No, and anyone who promises that isn't being honest. I make sure your book is set up to be found — correct categories, strong keywords, clean description — but actual sales depend on your cover, content, price, and promotion.
Q: What if I need changes after the upload? Each plan includes revision rounds (1 to 3) for metadata, description, or pricing tweaks before or shortly after publishing. Just send me what you'd like adjusted and I'll update the live listing.

The book did get published and the metadata was complete, but it took longer than I expected and I had to follow up a couple times for updates.

My book went live on Amazon in just a couple of days and the keywords and categories were all filled in exactly like we discussed. Couldn't have done the KDP setup myself.

Quick, professional, and stress free. They sorted out the categories, keywords, and the full listing details so all I had to do was approve it.

Good experience overall. The book got published and the seven keywords were all in place, though I had to ask for one small tweak to the blurb.

Uploaded both the ebook and paperback versions without a single formatting error, and the description and metadata looked clean on the listing.

Everything from the cover upload to the book description was done right. The metadata setup made my book actually findable in search.

Honestly so relieved. They handled the whole KDP publishing process, set up the title, subtitle, and author bio, and it showed up live just like promised.

Solid job getting the book published and the categories picked were spot on. Took a little back and forth on the keywords but the final result was good.
