I will design custom die-cut sticker sheets and packaging seals

About this gig

I will design custom die-cut sticker sheets and packaging seals that turn loose products into a finished, scroll-stopping brand experience. Print-ready, on-brand, built for real cutting machines.

What you get

  • A fully custom die-cut sticker sheet layout: multiple stickers arranged on a single backing sheet, each with its own contour cut line so peels come away cleanly.
  • Packaging seals designed to match the sheet: round, oval, square, or shaped tamper-style labels for closing boxes, mailers, tissue paper, and product wraps.
  • A clean cut/kiss-cut path drawn as a separate spot layer (e.g. CutContour / ThruCut) so your print shop knows exactly where the blade goes.
  • Print-ready files at 300 DPI with proper bleed (usually 3mm), safe margins, and CMYK setup on request.
  • Layered source files (Illustrator .ai and/or .svg) plus flattened PDF, PNG (transparent), and a labeled proof mockup so you can see the sheet on a card or seals on a box before printing.
  • A short spec sheet: recommended sheet size, individual sticker dimensions, material/finish suggestions (matte, gloss, holographic, kraft, clear), and notes for your printer.
  • Designs sized to standard sheet formats (A6, A5, A4, 4x6 in, etc.) or a custom dimension you specify.

How it works

  1. You brief me. Share your brand assets (logo, fonts, colors), the products these will go on, any existing artwork, and references you like. Tell me the sheet size, how many stickers, and the printer/material if you already have one.
  2. I plan the layout. I map out sticker shapes, sizes, and spacing on the sheet, and sketch seal options. If anything is unclear (resolution, dimensions, finish), I confirm before designing.
  3. I design the concept(s). You receive the agreed number of concepts as proof images, with the die-cut contour shown so you can judge the actual cut shapes, not just the artwork.
  4. You review and request revisions. We refine shapes, spacing, colors, and copy within your plan's revision rounds until it's right.
  5. I prepare production files. I finalize the cut layer, set bleed and safe zones, export every format, and write a printer-ready spec note.
  6. You receive final delivery. All files plus the spec sheet, ready to send straight to your sticker printer or cutting machine.

Why choose this

Die-cut work lives or dies on the cut line. A beautiful sticker with a sloppy contour prints crooked, peels badly, or gets rejected by the printer. I treat the cut path as a first-class part of the design: closed vector paths, sensible corner radii so points don't lift, and adequate spacing so blades don't clip neighboring stickers. Seals get the same care, with shapes and finishes chosen to actually survive being stuck to a box and shipped.

Everything is delivered in formats real print shops and Cricut/Silhouette-style machines expect, with a spec sheet that removes the back-and-forth between you and your printer. You also get layered source files (Standard and Premium) so you can update a price, a handle, or a date later without coming back for a full redo.

Who it's for / use cases

  • Small product makers (candles, soap, ceramics, baked goods) who want a branded sticker sheet to include in orders.
  • E-commerce and subscription boxes needing tamper-style seals and thank-you stickers for unboxing.
  • Etsy and handmade shops wanting a cohesive set of labels, logo stickers, and care-instruction decals on one sheet.
  • Cafes, breweries, and food trucks sealing takeaway bags, cups, and to-go boxes.
  • Event and wedding planners creating favor seals and envelope closures.
  • Creators and illustrators packaging sticker packs for sale, where the sheet itself is the product.

FAQ

Q: What's the difference between die-cut and kiss-cut? Die-cut means each sticker is cut all the way through, so individual peelable shapes sit on a backing. Kiss-cut cuts only the sticker, leaving the backing whole so multiple stickers share one sheet. I can design for either, or a mix, and I'll set up the contour layer accordingly.

Q: Will my files be ready for my specific printer? Yes. Tell me your printer or cutting machine and I'll match their requirements: the cut spot color name they ask for, bleed amount, and file type. If you don't have a printer yet, I'll deliver to common standards and note what to ask for.

Q: Do you provide the source files? Standard and Premium include layered Illustrator (.ai) and .svg files. Basic delivers print-ready PDF and transparent PNG, which cover most print and cutting needs but aren't editable vectors.

Q: Can you use my existing logo or artwork? Absolutely. Send the highest-resolution version you have (vector is ideal). If your logo is low-res, I'll let you know and can redraw simple marks as part of the design where feasible.

Q: Can you design unusual or custom sticker shapes? Yes, that's the point of die-cut. Organic blobs, mascots, lettering cut to outline, and custom seal shapes are all possible, as long as the shape is practical to cut cleanly at the chosen size.

Q: How many stickers fit on one sheet? It depends on sheet size and individual sticker dimensions. During planning I'll propose a layout that balances how many shapes you want against legibility and clean cutting. The plan tiers list the shape counts each covers.

Q: Do you actually print and ship the stickers? No. This is a design service. You receive finished, print-ready files to send to the printer or cutting machine of your choice. That keeps you free to pick any material, finish, and quantity.

Q: What do you need from me to start? Your brand assets (logo, fonts, colors), the products or packaging these go on, your preferred sheet size and sticker count, any references, and your printer's specs if you have them. The more detail up front, the fewer revision rounds we'll need.

Loved the packaging seals for my candle boxes. The round seal shape is just right and it prints super crisp.

Solid work on the sticker sheet layout. I needed one tweak to the spacing between stickers, but after that it was exactly what I wanted.

The final seals were fine but it took a few rounds to get the cut lines right, so the back and forth dragged a little for me.

The die-cut sticker sheet turned out perfect and every shape kiss-cuts exactly along the outline. My little logo stickers peel off so cleanly.

Honestly nicer than I pictured. The custom die-cut paths around each sticker are spot on and the files were print-ready out of the box.
