I will design App Store and Google Play screenshots that boost installs
About this gig
I design conversion-focused App Store and Google Play screenshots that turn store visits into installs — clear messaging, on-brand visuals, and store-ready exports.
Your screenshots are the single most-viewed asset in your entire marketing funnel. Most people decide whether to install in the few seconds they spend swiping through the gallery — long before they read a word of your description. I design that gallery to do its job: lead with your strongest hook, frame each feature around a benefit, and keep the eye moving from the first frame to the install button. This is hands-on design work delivered as finished, store-ready files — not a template you have to wrestle into shape yourself.
What you get
- A complete set of portrait and/or landscape screenshots designed for the App Store (iPhone, and iPad if needed) and Google Play, sized to current store specifications.
- Custom captions and headlines written or refined for each frame, so every screenshot sells a clear benefit instead of just showing a raw UI capture.
- Your actual app screens placed inside clean device frames (or frameless, your choice), with backgrounds, color, and typography that match your brand.
- A coherent visual narrative across the gallery — the frames read as one story, not five unrelated images.
- Correctly exported files at the exact pixel dimensions each store requires, named and organized so you can upload without guesswork.
- Editable source files (Figma, or layered PSD/AI on request) on the tier that includes them, so future updates are cheap and fast.
- A short upload cheat-sheet noting which file goes in which store slot and the dimensions used.

Exact frame counts, store targets, and language needs can be tailored before we start — message me with your specifics and I'll confirm the right tier.
How it works
- Brief & assets. You send me your app (a link or build/TestFlight access if available), your logo and brand colors, any existing screenshots, and a note on your target audience and top features.
- Capture & audit. I pull clean, high-resolution captures of the screens we want to feature, and we agree on the order — which feature leads, what each frame should communicate.
- Messaging. I draft the headline and caption for each frame so the gallery tells a benefit-driven story from frame one to the last.
- Design. I build the full set: device framing, branded backgrounds, typography, and any supporting accents, keeping the visual rhythm consistent across the gallery.
- Review. You get a preview of the complete set. We refine wording, colors, ordering, and emphasis within your tier's revision rounds.
- Delivery. I export every frame at the correct store dimensions, hand over source files where included, and give you the upload cheat-sheet so you can publish the same day.
Why choose this
I treat screenshots as marketing, not decoration. Anyone can drop a screen recording into a frame; the value is in deciding what to say, what to show first, and what to cut. I focus on legibility at thumbnail size (your captions have to land while someone is half-watching), on a consistent system so the gallery feels like a real product, and on store-correct exports so you never get a rejection or a blurry upload. You get finished files plus editable sources, which means your next feature launch is a quick edit rather than a from-scratch redesign.
I also keep scope honest. I design the store gallery assets — I don't write your app, generate fake data, or invent features you don't have. Everything I show is your real product, framed to look its best.
Who it's for / use cases
- Indie developers and solo founders launching a first app who want a store presence that looks funded and trustworthy.
- Startups preparing for a launch, a relaunch, or a major version where the old screenshots no longer match the product.
- Agencies and studios that need polished store assets for a client without burning internal design hours.
- Apps refreshing for seasonality or a campaign — holiday promos, a pricing change, a new headline feature worth leading with.
- Teams running store experiments who want clean A/B headline variants to test which message converts best.
- Localized launches that need the same gallery adapted for multiple language markets.
FAQ
Q: Do I need to send you a finished app or design files? No. A link to your app, a TestFlight/internal build, or even a set of existing screenshots is enough. If the app isn't installable yet, send me your highest-resolution UI mockups and I'll work from those.
Q: Will the screenshots meet the exact App Store and Google Play size requirements? Yes. I export each frame at the current required dimensions for the devices and stores in your tier, and I include a cheat-sheet mapping every file to its upload slot so nothing gets rejected.
Q: Can you write the captions, or do I provide them? I can do either. Standard and Premium include full caption and headline copywriting; on Basic I'll polish wording you provide. You always approve the final text.
Q: What if I don't like the first draft? Each tier includes revision rounds (1 to 3 depending on the plan). We refine copy, colors, ordering, and emphasis during those rounds until the set works for you. Larger directional changes after sign-off can be handled as an add-on.
Q: Do I get editable source files? Yes on Standard and Premium — delivered in Figma by default, or layered PSD/AI on request. Basic delivers finished exports only. Source files make future updates fast and inexpensive.
Q: Can you localize the screenshots into other languages? Yes. Standard covers one language and Premium covers up to three. Send me the translated copy (or I can lay out professional translations you provide), and I'll adapt each frame's layout to fit the new text cleanly.
Q: How long does it take? Most sets are ready for first review within a few days of receiving your assets, depending on tier and frame count. Share your deadline up front and I'll confirm whether it's workable before we begin.
Q: Can you guarantee my installs will go up? No honest designer can promise a specific number — conversion also depends on your traffic, pricing, ratings, and category. What I can do is apply the proven practices that help galleries convert: a strong hook, benefit-led captions, thumbnail legibility, and a clean visual story. If you run A/B tests, I'll give you variants to measure real impact.

Really clean layouts and the captions read well even on a small phone screen. Needed one extra round to get the colors matching my brand, but the final files were great.

Delivered a full set of store screenshots sized correctly for both iOS and Android, dropped them straight into my listings with zero fiddling.

Didn't expect the Google Play screenshots to come out this professional. The way each screen is framed with a bold tagline makes the whole listing pop.

The App Store screenshots he designed look so polished, and the short headline on each frame finally makes my app's features clear at a glance. Saw more installs the week I swapped them in.
