I will master your track optimized for Spotify, Apple Music and loud streaming

About this gig

I will master your track optimized for Spotify, Apple Music and loud, competitive streaming so it plays back clean, punchy and consistent on every platform and device.

Your mix is done, but it still sounds quiet, flat, or weaker than the commercial references you love. That is what mastering fixes. I take your final mixdown and turn it into a finished, release-ready master that translates from studio monitors to phone speakers, earbuds, car systems and club rigs, while respecting the loudness normalization that Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal and Amazon Music apply on playback.

What you get

  • A fully mastered stereo track delivered as a 24-bit WAV and a high-quality 320 kbps MP3, ready to upload or send to a distributor.
  • A streaming-optimized master targeted to a sensible integrated loudness (typically around -14 LUFS for Spotify/YouTube and a true-peak ceiling of -1 dBTP) so your track does not get turned down or distorted by platform limiters.
  • A short loudness and true-peak report (LUFS integrated, short-term, and dBTP) so you know exactly how your master measures before you release.
  • Tonal balancing with surgical and broad EQ to fix harshness, mud, boxiness and dull top end, so the track sounds full and modern.
  • Dynamics control using compression, limiting and saturation for perceived loudness without crushing the life out of your music.
  • Stereo-image and low-end management so the bass stays mono-solid and the width feels intentional, not phasey.
  • Clean fades, top-and-tail trimming, and correct sample-rate/bit-depth handling on export.
  • One detailed revision round so we can dial in the exact character you want.

How it works

  1. You send your final mix as a high-resolution WAV or AIFF (24-bit, original sample rate), ideally with about -6 dB of headroom on the master bus and no limiter or clipping on the stereo output.
  2. You tell me the genre, the platforms you are releasing on, and one or two reference tracks that sound the way you want yours to feel.
  3. I master the track, balancing tone, dynamics, loudness and stereo image against your references and against streaming targets.
  4. I send you the first master plus the loudness report for review.
  5. You give feedback, I apply your included revision(s), and we confirm the final.
  6. I deliver the final WAV and MP3 (and any extra versions in your plan) packaged and ready to distribute.

Why choose this

Mastering for streaming is not just "make it loud." Every major platform normalizes playback to a target loudness, which means an over-compressed, brick-walled master often sounds smaller and more fatiguing than a well-controlled one, because the platform turns it down anyway and you keep only the distortion. I master to win on perceived punch, clarity and translation, not just on a peak meter. You get a master that holds up next to commercial releases in your genre, keeps its dynamics where they matter, and avoids the inter-sample peaks that cause crackle after lossy encoding. You also get transparency: a real loudness report instead of vague promises, so you can verify the numbers yourself.

Who it's for / use cases

  • Independent artists and producers releasing singles or EPs to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Tidal, Amazon Music and SoundCloud.
  • Beatmakers and songwriters who need a polished, competitive sound before pitching to labels, sync libraries or playlists.
  • Podcasters, content creators and YouTubers who need music beds and intros mastered to a consistent loudness.
  • Bands and home-studio engineers who have a strong mix but want a professional final polish.
  • Anyone who has a mix that sounds quieter, duller or less "finished" than the records they compare it to.

FAQ

Q: What loudness will you master to? By default I target around -14 LUFS integrated with a -1 dBTP ceiling, which suits Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube. If you want a louder club or competitive master, I can provide a hotter version (around -9 LUFS) so you have options.

Q: How should I prepare my mix before sending it? Export a 24-bit WAV or AIFF at your project's native sample rate, leave roughly -6 dB of headroom on the stereo bus, and remove any limiter, clipper or normalization from the master channel. Do not let your mix peak at 0 dBFS.

Q: Can you make it as loud as a major commercial release? Yes, within reason. I can push loudness hard, but I will tell you honestly when extra loudness starts hurting punch and clarity. For streaming, an extremely loud master rarely helps because of normalization, so I balance loudness against quality.

Q: Do you offer stem mastering? Stem mastering is available on the Premium plan. Send 4 to 8 grouped stems (drums, bass, music, vocals, etc.) and I can make light corrective mix moves that single-file mastering cannot reach.

Q: What if I am not happy with the result? Your plan includes revision rounds. Send me specific, descriptive feedback (for example "too bright," "more low-end weight," "vocals sitting too far back") and I will refine the master until it matches your vision within the included revisions.

Q: Can you match a reference track? Yes. Reference-track matching is included on Standard and Premium. Share one or two songs that represent your target sound and I will steer the tone, weight and loudness toward that feel while keeping your track's identity.

Q: Can you master a full EP or album? Absolutely. For multi-track projects I can master each song and ensure consistent loudness and tone across the release so it plays as a cohesive body of work. Reach out with your track count for the best fit.

Q: What file formats do I receive? You always get a 24-bit WAV and a 320 kbps MP3. On request I can also export 16-bit/44.1 kHz for CD or specific distributor requirements, plus any extra versions included in your plan.

The master came back loud and clean, sits perfectly with the other tracks in my Spotify playlist without sounding squashed. Exactly what I was hoping for.

Sent over my mix and got a streaming-ready master that holds up at the loudness levels Apple Music likes. Super happy with how punchy it turned out.

Clean, balanced master that translates well across earbuds and my car. Loudness is right where it needs to be for Apple Music.

My track finally sounds as loud as the commercial stuff I was referencing, and nothing got distorted in the process. Will be back for the next single.

The master sounds good and is definitely loud enough for streaming, but I had to ask twice to soften the high end before it felt right to me.

Solid master, the low end is tighter and it competes well on streaming now. Took one revision to get the vocal where I wanted but he handled it no problem.

He optimized the levels so it doesn't get turned down on Spotify but still hits hard. Honestly the difference from my rough mix is night and day.

Got my song back sounding polished and competitive on every platform I checked. The loud-streaming optimization is exactly as described.
