I will create an ecommerce store and DTC product brand identity
About this gig
Launch a conversion-ready ecommerce store and a memorable DTC product brand identity built for direct-to-consumer founders who need a real storefront, not a template.
Overview
If you're a DTC founder shipping a physical product, you already know the hard truth: a beautiful logo without a working store sells nothing, and a working store with a forgettable brand gets ignored in a crowded feed. This gig solves both at once. I design and build a complete direct-to-consumer brand identity AND the ecommerce store it lives on, so your launch looks like a funded company instead of a side hustle.
I work specifically with consumer product brands — supplements and wellness, skincare and beauty, food and beverage, coffee, apparel, pet products, home goods, candles, and other shelf-and-cart categories. That focus matters. The buying psychology, the trust signals, the unboxing expectations, and the conversion patterns for a DTC product are not the same as for a SaaS app or a local service business, and the brand and store are designed around how people actually decide to buy consumer goods online.
What you get
- A complete brand identity system: primary logo, secondary/stacked marks, and a submark or favicon for tight spaces
- A defined color palette (primary, secondary, and neutrals) with HEX, RGB, and where relevant Pantone references
- Typography system — display and body pairings chosen for legibility on packaging and on screen
- Brand voice and positioning notes: your one-line value proposition, tagline options, and tone guidance
- A built ecommerce store on Shopify (preferred) — or WooCommerce/another platform on request — fully themed to your new identity
- Product page templates engineered for conversion: hero, benefits, ingredient/spec breakdown, reviews block, FAQ, and sticky add-to-cart
- Home, collection/catalog, about, contact, and cart/checkout styling consistent with the brand
- Mobile-first responsive layouts (the majority of DTC traffic is mobile)
- Core conversion plumbing: clear CTAs, trust badges, shipping/returns messaging, and email capture
- A brand guidelines PDF so every future designer, printer, and freelancer stays on-brand
- Packaged, organized source and export files

How it works
- Discovery — You complete a short brand questionnaire covering your product, target customer, competitors, and category. We align on goals and which plan fits your launch.
- Direction — I research your niche and present a moodboard plus 1–2 brand directions (logo concept, palette, type, and the feel of the store).
- Identity build — Once a direction is approved, I finalize the logo system, colors, typography, and voice, then assemble the guidelines.
- Store build — I set up and theme your ecommerce store, build the product page templates, load your supplied products and copy, and wire up cart, navigation, and email capture.
- Review & revisions — You review on a live preview link. We refine within your plan's revision scope.
- Handoff — You receive store access, all brand files, the guidelines PDF, and a short walkthrough so you can add products and run the store yourself.
Why choose this
Most freelancers do brand OR store. Stitching the two together later means mismatched colors, off-brand templates, and a launch that feels disjointed. Doing both in one engagement keeps the visual identity and the storefront perfectly consistent — the palette on your logo is the palette in your cart, the voice on your packaging is the voice on your product page.
I design for conversion, not just for looks. Every product page is structured around the questions a DTC buyer asks before they trust a new brand with their card: What is it, why is it better, is it safe, who else bought it, and what happens after I order. The store is built clean and fast on platforms you can actually maintain, with no dependency on me to make a routine update.
Who it is for / use cases
This is built for direct-to-consumer product founders, specifically:
- Supplement and wellness brands launching a hero SKU and needing trust-heavy product pages
- Skincare, beauty, and personal care brands that live or die on visual identity and ingredient storytelling
- Food, beverage, and coffee brands needing appetizing pages and subscription-ready layouts
- Apparel and accessories labels wanting a cohesive lookbook-style store
- Pet, home goods, candles, and lifestyle products entering a crowded marketplace
- Founders rebranding an existing store that looks DIY and underconverts
- Crowdfunding creators moving from a campaign to a permanent storefront
FAQ
Q: Which ecommerce platform do you build on? Shopify is my default because it's the most reliable for DTC product brands and easiest for you to manage. I also build on WooCommerce and select other platforms — just tell me before we start.
Q: Do I need to provide product photos and copy? Yes, you provide product images and your product descriptions. I handle layout, design, and the conversion structure. If your photos need light editing or your copy needs polishing, mention it and we'll scope it in.
Q: Can you migrate or redesign my existing store? Absolutely. If you already have a store that looks generic and underperforms, I can rebrand the identity and rebuild the storefront around it while preserving your existing products.
Q: Do you handle apps, payments, shipping, and taxes? I configure the store theme, pages, navigation, and core conversion elements. Payment gateway, shipping rates, and tax settings depend on your account and region — I'll guide you through connecting them, but the financial/legal setup is yours to confirm.
Q: How many product pages or templates are included? It depends on your plan. Basic includes one product template, Standard covers a full store of up to ten products, and Premium covers up to twenty-five with custom layouts per collection. Larger catalogs can be quoted as an add-on.
Q: Will the logo work on packaging and labels? Yes. The mark family is delivered in vector with light/dark variants and a submark for small spaces, so it scales cleanly from a favicon to a box, a label, or a hang tag.
Q: What do I need to provide to get started? Your product details, any existing assets (current logo, photos), your target customer, a few brands you admire, and your platform preference. The discovery questionnaire walks you through all of it.
Q: Can I update the store myself after handoff? Yes — that's the point. The build is clean and uses standard platform features, and I include a short walkthrough so you can add products, edit pages, and run promotions without coming back to me for routine changes.
